Great cordon bleu. The best I've ever eaten in my life. Service was great. Sensationally priced.

Been there yesterday with high expectations, as this house was recommended to us. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, the service was rather surly and showed us our seat. The menu (without drinks menu) was simply slapped on the table. It continued with the order. 2x beef broth with patties and sausage dumplings which was well filled also from the insert. Taste was good. Allgäu schnitzel on spaetzle with sauce and side salad (was OK) Cheese spaetzle with a side salad. For € 10.50 you don't imagine a child's portion, but the taste is quite ok And then came the Rhine Falls which brought the worst-case scenario! Pancakes filled with Mediterranean vegetables and mushroom cream sauce. The "pancake" was partly burnt and more of a sloppy tasteless something and thinner than the pancakes in the soup. The Mediterranean vegetables were ready. Mix from the frozen food, which is OK but very close to being overcooked. The mushroom cream sauce was good but would say that the mushrooms were out of the tin and the sauce was a finished product that was refined with cream. Dish cost € 10.50 and was not worth the money. The pancake wasn't eaten either. When the waitress asked barely if it was all right, I answered honestly and she made a long face and became even more unfriendly than before. She wasn't exactly friendly at other tables either. A lady asked for salt and pepper and said waitress turned around, rolled her eyes and made a long face. Maybe take a guest hospitality seminar! I myself am a trained hotel manager

The food was excellent, short waiting times, extremely attentive and friendly service and excellent value for money. Allgäu specialties cooked and served very tasty!

We have been vacationing in the region for over twenty years and are always happy to visit the Hirsch. Simply delicious, quaint and nice! Clearly five stars.

Allgäu-style dishes, mostly hearty, ... perfectly and skillfully prepared. The atmosphere is hearty, the service is good and the prices are affordable. Gladly again!

We stayed at the Gasthof Hirsch for 1 night during our Bodensee-Königssee bike tour. There is a lockable garage for bicycles. The room was huge. The location of the inn is very quiet right next to a church. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

We ate in the restaurant. Service was very friendly, lovely and cosy wooden alpine interior, the steak and chips was great value for money. Would definitely eat here again!

This place was recommended to me for dinner at my hotel, apparently not without the reason. They specialise in a local, Bawarian cuisine. I ordered a dish named "almschnitzel", which was a pork cutlet with cheese, served with a potato pancake and mixed fresh vegetables. It was very tasty indeed, large portion and reasonably priced. I'm planning to return tomorrow.

Probably the only pub in the radius of three kilometers open in the late evening. Wide selection of beers, cozy atmosphere and tasty food. Menu in German and English, but waitress didn't speak any language except German, nevertheless you can point to the menu. Dogs and kids friendly, prices are very reasonable for this part of Bavaria

Very pretty and traditional Bavarian style hotel with good local food, not overpriced food quality food! Can recommend this place to anybody.

Worth every cent. This place is awesome. It is very clean, there is at least one person speaking english in case if you dont know german. The views are stunning
